Simple Treats - Great Idea for Christmas Gifts

Ingredients: Rolos, Mini Pretzels, Almonds

1 - Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

2 - Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet.

3 – Lay the mini pretzels in a single layer on the parchment paper. You can put them close together.

4 – Put a Rolo on top of each mini pretzel.

5 – Put in the oven for 3-4 minutes. Definitely not more than 4 minutes.

6 – Take out of the oven and lay an almond on top of each one and push it down so it squishes the almond into the chocolate and caramel.

7 – Let them cool and EAT.

These are so yummy. You can also use pecans if you want them to be more like turtles, but I like them with the plain almonds on top.

ENJOY!

My friend, Mindi Hamilton Novasio, comes through again! Thanks for this little winner!

I've made this same recipe, except you use a Hershey's Kiss (instead of a Rolo) and then top it with a red or green M&M after it comes out of the oven. These are GREAT!!

Also in the Midwest they sell pretzels in small circle shapes, so that when you do the above recipe, your finished creation looks like a mini Christmas wreath.

This year I'm going to try it your way!

Thanks so much for sharing!
