2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
½ c. butter
½ c. shortening (I use butter shortening)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 large eggs
3 c. old-fashioned oats
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. raisins, chopped nuts or chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375
Beat all ingredients except oats, flour and raisins.
Stir in oats, flour and raisins.
Drop rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheet
Bake for 9-10 min or until edges are light brown.
