I have Paula Deen's 1st cookbook, The Lady and Sons Savannah Country Cookbook. In it, she has her House Seasoning recipe.

Paula Deen's House Seasoning Recipe

1/2 cup salt

1/8 cup pepper

1/8 cup garlic powder

1/8 cup onion powder (I found this in a later edition -- maybe it is optional)

Stir well and put in a 7 oz. container with a shaker lid. Works well for seasoning just about anything.
